About Bowser, British Columbia

Bowser is a small waterfront community situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island only 21 Km north of Qualicum Beach, and is famous for the abundance of clams and shellfish available in the area. One of several small towns lying between the stretch of road from Qualicum Beach to Fanny Bay, Bowser looks out over the inlet of water between Vancouver Island and Denman and Hornby islands. Bowser offers residents and visitors a variety of recreational activities including water activities, golfing, cave spelunking, and fishing. Bowser is famous for its oyster picking and whale watching.
