About Colwood, British Columbia
Colwood was originally one of four large farms established by the Hudson’s Bay Company and is now on of the west shore municipalities of Langford, Metchosin, View Royal and the highland. Colwood is located on 10Km west of downtown Victoria on Vancouver Island and is home to 14,825 residents. Colwood is rapidly growing and expanding to house the growing number of retirees and those who want to enjoy urban living without the traffic and noise of the downtown core, with easy access to downtown for work, recreation and shopping.
