About Hedley, British Columbia

Located on Highway 3 in the south Okanagan, 29 Km northwest of Keremos and 48 Km east of Princeton, the small town of Hedley is home to only 390 residents. Hedley is enclosed by mountains all both sides of the village and has the creek running through it to join the Similkameen River. Hedley was famous for their gold mines in the early 1900’s, and part of the town was destroyed by fires in 1956 and 1957. Hedley enjoys a semi-arid climate which draws in the tourist to bask in the sun, fish, swim or hike.
